Terms

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms cover Northlight apps. Most sections apply to Mac apps bought or downloaded from this website; apps from the App Store are covered as described below.

Apps from the App Store

Apps you get from the App Store or Mac App Store — including Ads Mute and EQForge — are licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). Purchases, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple. The warranty and liability sections below also apply to these apps where the standard EULA allows.

Ads Mute and EQForge work with the Spotify app for Mac. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify AB, and your use of Spotify remains subject to Spotify’s own terms. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB.

Each app’s privacy policy is linked from its page; see for example the EQForge privacy policy. Our general privacy policy covers this website.

Apps sold on this website

The rest of these terms apply to Mac apps bought or downloaded from this website.

License

When you buy an app, Northlight Software grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on up to three Macs that you personally use. You don’t own the software itself, and you may not resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.

Updates

Your license includes updates for the major version you bought (for example, all 1.x releases). New major versions may be offered as a paid upgrade at a discount for existing owners.

Payments and refunds

Orders are processed by our payment provider as merchant of record, under its own buyer terms. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@pixelsperfect.app. Refunded licenses are deactivated.

Beta software

Apps marked Beta are provided free and as-is while they are being finished. They may change or stop working.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Northlight Software is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your country.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes don’t affect licenses already purchased.
