Support

Email support@pixelsperfect.app with the app name, your macOS or iOS version and what happened. A person reads every message and replies within one business day.

Licenses

After you buy a Mac app you receive an email with your license key and a download link. In the app, open the menu bar icon, choose Enter License… and paste the key. Activation works offline.

  • A personal license covers up to three Macs that you use yourself.
  • Updates within the same major version are free.
  • Lost your key? Email us from the address you used at checkout and we’ll resend it.

Refunds

If an app doesn’t work for you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund you in full. You don’t need to give a reason. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Installing a Mac app

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg.
  2. Drag the app into your Applications folder.
  3. Open it from Applications. Our apps are notarized by Apple, so macOS opens them without a warning.

Some apps need permissions such as Accessibility (to paste into other apps) or Camera. They’ll ask the first time, and you can change your choice later in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Ads Mute

  • Ads aren’t being muted. Ads Mute needs permission to talk to Spotify. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation and turn on Spotify under Ads Mute.
  • Enhance Sound is greyed out. It needs audio-capture permission, which macOS asks for the first time you turn it on. You can change it later in Privacy & Security.
  • My volume stayed low. Ads Mute restores Spotify’s volume when an ad ends, when you quit it, and after a crash. If it ever doesn’t, raise Spotify’s volume back up and email us so we can look into it.

Ads Mute lowers Spotify’s volume during ads; it doesn’t block or skip them. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify AB.

EQForge

Setup help and common questions are on the EQForge support page. The most common fix: if there’s no sound, allow EQForge under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone (macOS’s name for audio-recording access), then press power again.

Uninstalling

Quit the app from its menu bar icon, then move it from Applications to the Bin. No background helpers are left behind.
